For Leveron family members using a leveron.com email address :

You can always sign in to our Gmail domain
at http://webmail.leveron.com (actually, this redirects you over to https://mail.google.com/a/leveron.com/ but the first one is a whole lot easier to type, and remember . . .)

Our Gmail interface is set to require a secure connection, so once you are at the login page you should always see that the web address starts with "https://"

You may also note that the sign in box is set to a green colored background. As well, the standard powered by gmail Gmail logo in the upper left corner has been replaced by Leveron logo for email powered by Google a custom logo. Yes, never give up a paying day job, I hear you.

Per Google, google labs beaker "Leveron.com Mail Labs is a testing ground for experimental features that aren't quite ready for primetime. They may change, break or disappear at any time. If (when) a Labs feature breaks, and you're having trouble loading your inbox, there's an escape hatch. Use this link to sign in to webmail with no labs features."

If you prefer, you can download shortcuts to email for your Windows desktop. There is also a bulk email uploader available to help you migrate to our google apps email.

If you are having any sort of trouble with your email, well, I got you into this and I'll help. Though this has not been an issue so far since migrating from smaller data connections to the "G"; if you do need help of any sort, just phone or email.

Until you actually get your hands around my neck, you might have a look at solutions to common questions; each service in Google Apps has a comprehensive help center (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sites, etc.)

Family members can stop reading now <grin>

Tech Details

Burgeoning tech folks who want to give this a go themselves (and who own at least one domain name, that they like to use Google Mail for) should make tracks over to the Google Apps Standard Edition signup page; hit the big blue button on the right edge. We've been using this for several years with no real issues; it is kind of nice to be able to give Uncle Bob his own custom email address, and of course when you own your own domain, your email address need not change, ever. As well, you are allowed to specify aliases per user, set up distribution group email addresses, etc.

Total setup time should be under an hour, but I'm down to about 15 minutes provisioning new domains as they get shuffled over. 100-200 no-charge 7+ gig email accounts? "Yes, please!" And yes, there's a button by my "200 users" to request more for free. The family's not quite that big!
