Google Calendar on your web site

Google makes it fairly easy to embed what you want on your own website. I think this can be pretty useful for a specific calendar that you want to be publicly seen. Of course, on an access controlled or LAN site, you may well be able to put up your organization's "private" calendar, depending on your policy.

Once you've got your Gmail account and are in to the Calendar site, you'll probably find these links useful :

How to embed Google Calendar on your own web site

Here's a public example from my original Gmail account (which is still quite useful for testing) :

While this public example doesn't have any actual meetings in it, you can drill down into any item on a given day, and get more detail, or attempt to copy the "appointment" over to your google calendar. You may also find the print preview to help, as it will show at the top the public calendar dates / countries I included; there are a lot more, but there is a limit as to how many countries will fit for embedded calendars. There are also moon phases listed.

I hope this was some help for you in looking at online calendar options. -J
