Guys...Ya'll are going to call me a liar, but I saw it with my own eyes. ( Marty Bordson - Badger Ordance also seen this). George Gardner is at my place this weekend, along with Marty, Randy Brooks and Jessica Treau from Barnes Bullets, and last night, he shot a 4 shot group at 1000 yrds that measured 3.75!!! Now..the best for last..He shot that group with a AR-10!! I would NOT have believed it if I hadn't seen it!!

#3) AR-10 Eagle Arms Lower, Jewell trigger, A4 flatop upper chambered in 260 Rem, 26" K&P stainless barrel. JP muzzle break. Rifle has Zero Recoil!! Badger Handguard, Badger Rings. Shot consistant 1/2 MOA all the way to 1000 yards. 125 rounds on barrel.
The .260 Rem is a .308 necked down to 6.5mm, shoots 140-142 grain bullets (for my tastes, anyway). George Gardner of G.A. Precision built this rifle.
Someone mentioned to me that George had a little fun with his spotter (Bobby Whittington) while down at Badlands Tactical Training Facility. . . seems this particular rifle not only shot well, but the recoil was actually just a bit on the negative side, due to the weight of the gun, and the exceptional brake. So from a rest, the shooter was able to double-tap the thousand yard maiden (20x40 steel). Watching that trace must have been interesting <heh> . . .
George also took care of me on this deal; I received today (2nd business day since the purchase) his Redding BR bushing dies [fl and neck] and the seater, with some loaded rounds and lots of brass. Having no other guns in .260, he threw them in. That just made it even nicer.
I have now shot the gun, and can verify it truly does little more than vibrate. I think it starts to the rear slightly, but the brake then pulls it forward. Hard to believe this round has more energy and less drift at 1000 yards than my favorite .308 load, 175 smk @ 2700 fps. These 6.5 mm rounds are crazy :)
